The HATCH Photography discipline is seeking submissions to UP CLOSE, a projected guerilla exhibition to take place during the 4 day HATCH Experience in downtown Asheville. The projected exhibition will move to different, undisclosed location on two nights. The theme is UP CLOSE, and the theme is open to each individual interpretation. Submitted works must be photo based, but can incorporate other media. Submitted images should be a cohesive body of work.

Diana Stoll // Stoll writes about Photography for aperture magazine, where she is the senior editor and also edits books on the visual arts for aperture, the international center of photography, the museum of modern art, powerhouse, and many other publishers. Originally from New York Cuty, Diana is now based in Asheville.
Brie Castell // Castell is the owner of Castell Photography, Asheville’s only art gallery which exhibits solely photo based works. Brie is also a working fine artist and has been widely exhibited and collected. Additionally, she is an adjunct professor of photography at Brevard College.
Steve Cohen // Cohen is the founder of Music & Art Management, has represented a collection of respected music and multimedia artists. Cohen is the Executive Producer of commissions from the Lincoln Center Festival, The Brooklyn Academy of Music Next Wave Festival, Spoleto Festival USA, Festival d’Automne a Paris, Wiener Festwochen and others.
Lynne Harty// Harty is a commercial and fine art photographer in Asheville, NC. She photographs for commercial clients while continuing to create her quirky colorful depictions of city icons that have developed quite a following around Asheville. Lynne is also a licensed artist of the Biltmore Estate and she teaches photography workshops.
